TEV Protease can be used for the removal of affinity tags from fusion proteins. It contains an N-terminal His tag allowing the protease to be easily removed after cleavage using IMAC resin. Varizymes TEV Protease is an improved version of TEV protease that has higher site-specificity and higher activity than native TEV protease.
